Berry Head Hotel Wedding ~ Kirsty & Garry
These two, what a fantastic pair! We first met Garry & Kirsty at a wedding fair in Newton Abbot last year. Garry (along with his broken arm) came and spoke to us first and spent a lot of time looking through our albums (one handed) and chatting about the wedding he envisaged! We thought it was so wonderful that a groom was doing A LOT of the planning and was fully involved with all aspects of their big day. He found Kirsty elsewhere at the fair, dragged her back to our stand and they booked us on the spot! Nice! They chose to have two photographers because they wanted bride and groom prep in different locations.
These two have the most wonderful sense of humour and hilarious banter between them. They started out as friends and soon became lovebirds, then with their mutual love of travel they decided to take a year out of work to go travelling around the Asia and Australia, returned home, bought a house and this year got married! Amazing! They currently both live up in the South East but Garry, being a traditionalist, wanted Kirsty to marry in her home town which was Newton Abbot. So they married on a sunny Saturday at the lovely St Joseph’s Church in Queens Street then a reception followed at the Berry Head Hotel, Brixham. Along the way to their reception we couldn’t resist stopping off in a rapeseed field to capture some gorgeous couple shots for them. Garry and our Mel needed to dose up on the anti-histamines beforehand mind you! Their wedding day was SO much fun. Loads of friends & family made the journey from the South East to celebrate with them. It was perfect! We hope you like their images….here’s a small selection.
