Cockington Court Torquay Wedding ~ Polina & Matthew
Polina and Matthew’s intimate wedding at Cockington Court, Torquay was a perfect way to kick off the wedding season. This gorgeous pair had such a wonderful connection with one another, a little something special that you can’t help smile at and feel all warm inside!
They got married with just the very closest of family present on the 18th March and the sprinkling of spring sunshine helped to get some pretty images for them. We loved bearing witness to this earnest and beautiful little sealing of love. Now living in London and with a recent house purchase in the city, they just wanted a zero fuss wedding and a simple day of promises to keep being what they already are to each other. They decided to wed here in Torbay where Matt is originally from and, with Polina being unfamiliar with the area, she asked if we could go to few popular local locations for photos. We suggested Thatchers Rock, the grounds of Cockington Court and the pathway on Torre Abbey meadows which was lined with daffodils. To say Thatchers Rock was chilly is to put it mildly, but Polina was so excited to be there that when we asked, “Are you sure you want to brave this cold wind?” she just whipped her coat off and replied, “Yes, lets do it!” It was a really lovely, relaxed afternoon and we were so glad to be part of a day so special to both of them. As always, we wish them lots of love and luck in their lives together. Here’s a few of our favourite images….
