Headland Hotel Torquay Wedding ~ Emma & Rob
Welcome to Emma and Rob’s Headland Hotel Torquay wedding! Emma and Rob, had their Devon wedding at the stunning Headland Hotel in Torquay which had been decorated by The Cover Cupboard. The Headland Hotel has had a recent renovation which involved extending their outside terrace area, which we’re happy to say was used for most of the day! Apart from a small rain shower in the afternoon, they were blessed with sunshine throughout the day. The flowers were created by Barton Bouquets.
Mel covered the bridal preparations while Jen went to see what the boys were up to! We love this part of the day and our couples always tell us that they love the photos that show what each other was doing during the morning. That’s the beauty of having two photographers – we literally can be in two places at once! Emma looked stunning in her dress from Waterfields and the handsome groomsmen wore outfits from Sawyers.
It soon became apparent that both sets of families are extremely close to each other, they were a constant support to the bride and groom when nerves started to set in and many hugs were exchanged! It was really lovely to witness. Both Emma & Rob’s friends are obviously a big part of their lives too. They are certainly a very loved couple with a huge network of support and it was lovely to be a part of their day. This made for lots of natural, candid photos capturing all the fun and laughter.
Emma & Rob’s children, Thomas & Maisie, were a big part of the day too and stole the limelight on many occasions! We have enjoyed cooing over their little faces whilst editing the pictures! We especially loved Thomas’ face once he’d done his duty of passing the rings on to his Dad during the ceremony!
We hope you enjoy their images!
