Living Coasts Wedding ~ Lucy & Steven
Welcome to Lucy and Steven’s 1950s inspired wedding! This totally laid-back couple were an absolute joy to work with! We went separately in the morning to capture bride and groom preparations before the ceremony at Paignton Parish Church. Unfortunately, we weren’t allowed to take photographs of any part of the ceremony (top tip: if you would like photos of the moment you become man and wife please check that the church will allow photography). However, we managed to capture lots of photographs outside the church as the newlyweds were greeted by their guests and showered with confetti.
Lucy and Steven had chosen a vintage Morris Minor to drive them to their reception at Living Coasts in Torquay. The couple had made their own table plan and decorated the tables with demijohn jars filled with wild flowers. The amazing-looking cake was made by a friend of the bride’s mother. Whilst guests mingled over welcome drinks, we stole Lucy and Steven away for some couple shots down at Beacon Cove and in the penguin enclosure. One of the penguins was an inquisitive little chap and started pecking away at Lucy’s wedding gown!
Here’s a little peek at their day…
