We both have a totally natural approach to shooting your wedding. We won’t put you into any awkward poses, instead we will capture the real-life moments of your day as they happen. When you look back at your photographs, we want you to remember how you felt at that moment. This is your wedding, not a photo-shoot! You’ve just got married! For couple portraits, we’ll steal you away from your guests for a short time to give you a moment to take it all in. Enjoy being together and we’ll capture you naturally, with each other. For your group photos we recommend you keep these to six or fewer. We don’t want you or your guests hanging around waiting for their name to be called, when you could be enjoying a chat with a drink in hand. We want to capture real smiles not forced ones.
Weddings are pure joy and excitement, and we absolutely thrive on documenting this. We capture the range of emotions that tell your story, allowing you to relive your day through our images. If you look through our photos a common theme is laughter and giggles. You may have seen magazine photos of brides with their head bowed, looking sad. That’s not really our style – this is one of the happiest days of your lives and this happiness is what we will capture.
We love photographing people! Our unobtrusive approach means that we can capture your guests naturally, as they enjoy your day with you. We’ll take a few group photos for the family album but we keep these to a minimum because we want you and your guests to enjoy catching up and spending time together. Our experience and intuition enables us to be in the right place at the right time to capture people at their most relaxed, happy and at ease. It may be a glance, a gesture or even a kiss, we will document these spontaneous interactions as they happen.
