Yurt Camp Devon Wedding ~ Sam & Liam

Sam and Liam two are such a fun-loving, relaxed and totally laid back couple, which was perfectly reflected in their day. Their festival themed wedding took place at the Yurt Camp Devon and they couldn’t have picked a more perfect venue that reflected their personalities. It was such a lovely and unique venue for a wedding.

The day began with the bridal preparations. Sam, along with her close family and best buddy Emily, all got ready at Sam’s parents house. Buttery toast was made and pressecco was drunk whilst grandma painted the little bridesmaids’ nails. A playlist was being played in the kitchen and we’d get entertained by sudden outbursts of singing & dancing from Sam & Emily. It was a totally relaxed morning. Sam’s soft hearted dad looked emotional and proud when she emerged in her wedding dress ready to go; it was a big gulp moment! Over at the Yurt Camp, a cool and perfectly calm Liam was found adjusting his button hole with his best man, Andy. Liam had a last minute walk around the main barn where the BBQ was to be served making sure everything was just so and then spent time greeting guests before his bride arrived. They decided they wanted to get married outside and, just as Sam arrived with her Dad, the grey clouds cleared and sun came out.

During the afternoon, giant jenga was played and some limbo dancing competitions were had and in the evening guests danced the evening away to some pretty cool bands, and a silent disco! Sam and Liam had an amazing day and it was everything they’d hoped it would be. Here’s their story…
