Lupton House Devon Wedding ~ Amanda & Bex

Amanda and Bex chose Lupton House near Brixham as the perfect setting for their Christmas wedding.  I met them on the morning at the nearby Old School House for the bridal preparations.  It was lovely to photograph them helping each other to get ready – they were so relaxed it was as if they were just getting ready for a girls’ night out. When all the bridesmaids and best women were ready, the bridal party set off for the venue – followed by Amanda and Bex in their unconventional Land Rover!

The ceremony took place in the chapel which was lit with fairy lights and warmed by an open fire.  There were heartfelt readings as well as a few giggles as they took their vows.  Afterwards, we made our way outside for a few group photos before guests moved inside to warm up by the cosy fires.  Amanda and Bex braved the cold a little longer to capture some gorgeous couple shots before joining their guests for welcome drinks.

The meal followed, interspersed with speeches followed by a live band for the evening entertainment. The dancing kicked off with a line dance performed by the bridal party to the tune of Shania Twain’s ‘Man! I feel like a woman’. This definitely got everyone in the mood as guests partied on into the night.

I hope you enjoy their story in pictures…
