Harefield Barn Devon Wedding Photography

A guide to weddings at Harefield Barn

Harefield Barn is a purpose built wedding venue that gives you the feel of a modern barn in a stunning countryside setting. The reception room is flooded with natural light and it’s pretty beams and fairy lights make it a pretty setting for your meal without you needing to add extra décor. There’s a room upstairs so you can ready on the morning of your wedding on site. Deborah and her team make sure everything runs smoothly and I’m so lucky that she recommends me to her lovely couples. One of the things I love about this location is that each time I visit there’s something different in the adjoining field. Will you find a romantic cornfield or a field full of fresh daisies?

Hannah & Craig’s modern barn wedding near Exeter

Hannah and Craig chose the stunning Harefield Barn in Devon for their reception following their church wedding. Hannah and Craig didn’t need to add much to make the reception space look gorgeous. They decorated the tables with simple foliage and the tables names were places they’ve visited. I loved the order of the day with the cute little clocks!

For Hannah and Craig, the cornfield combined with the early evening light was such a lovely setting. Hannah and Craig giggled their way through which resulted in gorgeous, relaxed photos. Hidden in Hannah’s headpiece was a little blue flower clip. She’d bought it in Claire’s as a little girl and put it away in a box with a note that read ‘I’ll wear this on my wedding day’! Isn’t that such a cute story? Here’s a little snapshot of their Harefield Barn wedding photography…

Stephanie & Henry’s musical wedding at Harefield Barn

Stephanie and Henry met at the Royal College of Music so their wedding was a celebration of music! Henry even brought his own grand piano which several of the guests played throughout the day. They were blessed with the perfect day for an outdoor ceremony and the set-up looked so pretty with stunning floral décor. This time, the adjoining field was full of daisies in bloom. They’re my favourite flower so I was in photographer heaven! The barn looked stunning as always for the wedding breakfast. Wild flowers in bud vases adorned the top table and green chair sashes added subtle colour. The barn is so light and airy; it’s one of my favourite venues for capturing those reactions to the speeches. It was such a lovely summer evening that Stephanie and Henry decided to have their first dance outside. Here’s a sneak peek at their Harefield Barn Devon wedding…

Harefield Barn is one of my absolute favourite places for a Devon wedding. I would highly recommend taking a closer look or visiting one of their open days. And don’t forget to book your Exeter wedding photographer today!
