I first photographed a wedding at The Green Cornwall about 5 years ago and it was instantly one of my favourite places for a wedding! It’s an exclusive use venue in the countryside near Liskeard in Cornwall. I’ve put together a selection of my wedding photography at The Green Cornwall to show you how your wedding could look. There is a complex of barns and cottages so you and your guests can spend the night or the weekend to enjoy the celebrations. They offer a choice of indoor and outdoor ceremonies. I particularly like The Red Brick Barn which is a light and airy space for your wedding breakfast. From a photographer’s point of view it’s perfect for capturing the speeches and those all important reactions.

The surroundings of The Green Cornwall match my natural style of photography perfectly. There are winding paths and hidden gems that I’ve discovered on previous visits so I know the prettiest spots for your couple photos. Of course, I’ll capture those in between moments of the two of you as well. One of my favourite moments is when you’re waiting to be announced in to the meal and you’ve got a few minutes to yourselves to let it all sink in. Hearing your names announced for the first time as a new couple is always a special moment.

The Green has a dedicated team to help you plan your dream day. They’ll be there on the day for everything from serving drinks to dress-pouffing! One thing I’ve noticed at weddings is they don’t allow you to throw confetti. But that’s not a problem! My top tip is to find a fun alternative like bubbles, streamers or even pom-poms! My years of experience shooting weddings mean that I’m always watching for those interactions between your guests and I love capturing all those candid moments that you might miss on the day.
