Wedding Photography at Colehayes Park Devon
I’ve had a few bookings recently for wedding photography at Colehayes Park. It’s a DIY wedding venue in Devon, situated on the edge of Dartmoor. I’ve shot several weddings there and each one has been unique so I’ve put together some photographs to give you some inspiration. If you’re looking for a venue that gives you the freedom to create a wedding that suits your personality then take a look!
DIY Devon Wedding Venue
Colehayes Park is a Georgian mansion with 21 bedrooms making it one of the largest self-catering wedding venues. Along with a cottage in the gardens, it can sleep around 80 guests. So if you’d like to extend your celebrations for a long weekend, you can have family and friends on site with you. You can choose or own caterers and suppliers and there’s no corkage fee so you can supply your own alcohol too!
Wedding Ceremony at Colehayes
Colehayes Park is licensed for indoor and outdoor ceremonies. Options include the oak-panelled front hall or a pretty pagoda in the garden. You can add your own styling to match your wedding theme. After the ceremony, we’ll take a walk around the grounds to capture those relaxed couple photos.
Wedding Reception at Colehayes
The gardens at Colehayes Park are perfect for hosting your welcome drinks and canapés. I love this outdoor space and it’s perfect for me to wander and capture those candid shots of your guests whilst they mingle and enjoy garden games. For your meal, you can use the dining room or put up a marquee in the grounds. Again, you’ve got a blank canvas to create your own style, from rustic to festival. How about hiring a food truck or even a travelling cocktail bar! In the evening, the front hall hosts the dancing.
I hope you’ve enjoyed this selection of wedding photography at Colehayes Park. For more photos check out this lovely summer wedding at Colehayes Park.
