Spanish Barn Torre Abbey Wedding ~ Emily & Jonathan
Emily and Jonathan’s Spanish Barn wedding in Torquay took place on the same day as storm Brian hit – although you would never have known it from the photos! The couple live in London and booked Memories & Milestones for their wedding photography after searching the Internet – I’m so glad they did!
The day started with Emily at a small boutique hotel in Babbacombe where the bridal preparations were in full swing. Emily’s simple yet elegant dress looked stunning and she completed her look with a feather stole to keep her warm.
Reportage wedding photographer in Torbay
As a reportage photographer you have to be prepared for anything! The ceremony took place in the Spanish Barn just as the heavens opened, but luckily the skies cleared for some formal group photos on the steps of Torre Abbey before everyone headed inside for welcome drinks. We made use of the beautiful greenhouse in the grounds to get some couple shots whilst sheltering from the wind.
The wedding breakfast took place inside the barn which looked amazing! Vintage china place settings and pretty chair sashes completed the look. After the speeches, guests partied on into the evening. Here’s a little taster of their day…
