Somerset Barn Vintage Wedding ~ Nicola & Jeremy

In this real wedding blog, I’ll be sharing some vintage 1920s wedding ideas! The wedding reception was held in the tithe barn at Batts Farm near Bruton in Somerset. Nicola and Jeremy live in London so were browsing the Interent looking for a South West wedding photographer when they came across Memories & Milestones! I’m so glad they did as their wedding was a joy to be a part of! They chose a vintage 1920s theme and all the guests were invited to dress in outfits that suited that era. Flapper dresses and straw boaters added style and colour as guests embraced the spirit of the day. And, of course, there was a vintage car!

Natural wedding photography in Somerset

Nicola and Jeremy opted for half a day’s coverage so I met them at North Cheriton Church in Somerset and captured their ceremony and reception up until the meal. The reception was held at a family friend’s barn at Batts Farm near Bruton, Somerset. The barn looked amazing and the tables were decorated with vintage touches and peacock feathers and were named after famous people from the 1920s. The rain didn’t dampen spirits as guests mingled over welcome drinks and chatted inside the cosy barn. We braved the drizzle to capture some relaxed newlywed portraits and umbrellas always make for cute couple shots!

Here’s a little peak at their lovely vintage wedding…
