Nestled on the edge of Dartmoor, this stunning Devon wedding venue offers a breathtaking blend of natural beauty and timeless charm. Just off the A38 at Ashburton it is conveniently located between Exeter and Plymouth. This country house venue provides the perfect balance of seclusion and accessibility for couples dreaming of a relaxed, countryside wedding. There are five function rooms, some of which are interconnecting. This gives you the opportunity to choose the perfect space for your ceremony and meal, whether you’re having an intimate wedding or a larger celebration. For eco-conscious couples, this wedding venue is a fantastic choice. Their dedication to sustainability has earned national recognition and they take great pride in their environmentally friendly values.
Your ceremony
Rooms are available upstairs for bridal prep and the ceremony is usually held in The Dawson Room. After the ceremony, the path outside is the perfect place for guests to line up and form a confetti tunnel. Nothing says ‘newlywed’ quite like a confetti photo!
Candid photos of your wedding reception
The outside terrace and expansive lawns are perfect for your welcome drinks reception. The Ballroom hosts the wedding breakfast and the party in the evening. I’ll be there capturing those welcome hugs, reactions to the speeches and some dancefloor action!
