Holne Park House Ashburton Wedding ~ Hannah & Ben
Welcome to Hannah and Ben’s Holne Park House wedding in Ashburton, set just on the edge of Dartmoor National Park, Devon. Hannah didn’t want bridal prep photos so I created a bespoke package for them to include the ceremony up until the first dance.
I met up with Ben in the morning as he was welcoming their guests, customary pint in hand, at the pretty Court Farm pub in Abbotskerswell village, where both Hannah & Ben grew up. It wasn’t until Hannah returned from university that Ben realised she was the girl of his dreams and luckily for him, Hannah felt he was the boy of hers! Ahhh…
The church was stunned into silence when Hannah shimmied down the aisle in her beautiful Browns of Totnes dress holding her Dad’s arm, and the little smiles and knowing glances between Hannah & Ben when they finally stood next to each other was a beautiful moment that will be etched into our hearts forever. Every effort and thoughtful consideration had gone into adorning the elegant rooms at Holne Park House, the final look was oozing with class and beauty which was a joy to photograph. The cake from Carol’s Cupcakes made a wonderful feature in one of the bay windows.

The stunning autumn trees made for the most beautiful back drop to the relaxed couple shots. We made the most of the sun going down earlier in the afternoon to fit a few couple shots in the perfect ‘golden hour’ time slot that us photographers get all worked up about! Yep, autumn weddings really do rock, all day long! The bride’s bouquet from Hollyhocks complemented the autumn colours perfectly.
