I’ve photographed weddings at country manor houses, rustic barns and even a historic castle! The venues I’ve chosen all have something special to offer and the photos featured are from real weddings. At each venue, I’ve met the team working hard behind the scenes and have first hand experience of how the day unfolds. 1. Rockbeare Manor
Rockbeare Manor is a country manor house which provides an elegant setting for your Exeter wedding. I love the elegance inside the house and the light is great from a photographer’s point of view. The Dining Room hosts the ceremony and The Ballroom is transformed for your wedding breakfast. I’ve been shooting weddings here since they launched as a wedding venue and I always love walking in to see how it has been decorated for each wedding. The rooms themselves are gorgeous enough that you can keep your décor really simple and it will still look fabulous. Or you can go all out for a glam wedding – the choice is yours! The day runs like clockwork with an expert wedding team on hand (and they always feed the photographer – bonus!).

The main hall has stunning beams and wall to wall bifold doors, bringing the outside in. so much thought has gone into every detail making the whole venue a comfortable place for you guests. Even the toilets are some of the fanciest I’ve seen! The surrounding countryside is stunning and a photographer’s dream! With wheat fields and a wildflower meadow, your couple photos will be gorgeous! Click here for a guide to weddings at Harefield Barn.
