Brittany & Matt’s wedding reception at Headland Hotel
Brittany and Matt chose the Headland Hotel for their wedding reception following their ceremony at St Mary the Virgin Church in Torquay. I loved the colour scheme of blues and creams the ran throughout the day. The bridal prep details were so pretty they deserved their own photo! One of my tips for your bridal prep is to bring along your invitation so I can include it with your bridal details. Brittany and Matt’s wedding was the perfect summer day – ideal for capturing candid photos of the couple and their guests as they enjoyed welcome drinks on the terrace. For some extra special couple portraits we headed to the beach. My local knowledge as a Torbay wedding photographer means I can recommend the perfect locations. Meadfoot Beach isn’t far from the hotel and the tide times worked with the schedule of the day. The early evening light was just right for some gorgeous backlit photos.

Emma & Rob’s summer wedding at Headland Hotel
I can’t believe Emma and Rob’s wedding at the Headland Hotel was 10 years ago! Their natural, candid photos are timeless and still look great today. What amazing memories to look back on. The couple opted for an indoor ceremony and guests mingled afterwards on the terrace. They were blessed with a sunny day apart from a small shower in the afternoon. I love the photo of Emma running for cover just as the shower started!
