Rustic outdoor wedding in Devon
The South Hams area of Devon is a beautiful spot for an outdoor wedding! Nestled between Totnes and Dartmouth, Cornworthy was the pretty village setting for Polly and Elliot’s rustic wedding. The pair married in the local church, where Polly had been going since she was little. They even planned a surprise Christening for their daughter at the end of the ceremony! It was the first time I’d shot a wedding and Christening at the same time and it was an honour to be a part of it all.
Polly and Elliott found the perfect spot for their Devon marquee wedding overlooking the River Dart. With views across to Stoke Gabriel and Galmpton, it was truly stunning. Guests mingled outdoors before enjoying their meal inside the marquee. The table names were all the places the couple had travelled to, displayed in a vintage suitcase. The ‘strawberries and cream’ cake was perfect for a summer wedding. Bunting added a rustic feel.

The views over the river provided the perfect backdrop for some relaxed couple photos and we went down to Blackness Marine for some romantic shots on the jetty. I hope you enjoy this little snapshot of their amazing South Hams wedding!
