Country house wedding in Devon
Holne Park House on Dartmoor was the setting for Chris and Gemma’s country house wedding. I met Gemma at her parents’ house that morning to capture a flavour of her bridal prep before moving on to the Devon wedding venue. Whilst Gemma was upstairs adding the final touches Chris was greeting their guests. Gemma and Chris couldn’t stop smiling and it was obvious that they were both so excited to see each other. A harpist played as Gemma walked up the aisle and the pair beamed as they exchanged vows.

The newlyweds mingled with their guests outside over welcome drinks before we slipped away briefly for some couple shots. The River Dart and the grounds of Holne Park provided a lovely backdrop for their relaxed couple photos. Once back at the house, it was time for their wedding breakfast and speeches. The couple love travelling so their table names were all the exotic places they’ve visited and, I must admit, I was a bit envious of their planned honeymoon to Australia!
