Elegant wedding at St Audries Park Somerset
Welcome to Beth and Aaron’s summer wedding at St Audries Park! I’ve been photographing weddings across the South West for over 10 years but it’s still exciting when I get to visit a new venue. I’ve chosen a selection of photos that showcase this lovely venue and give you an idea of how your St Audries Park wedding might look. I met Beth in the morning to capture the gorgeous details of her dress and bridal bouquet and, of course, shots of her preparing for the big day. Aaron was in another room on site so I popped along to see how he and the groomsmen were getting along too. The ceremony took place in the church in the grounds so we didn’t have far to go. It was a scorcher of a day so during the afternoon drinks, guests took shelter under the umbrellas in the gardens. We decided to do the group photos inside the orangery where it was cooler. The light was just perfect so we made the most of it and took some newlywed portraits too.

The banqueting hall looked absolutely stunning set up ready for the meal. I loved the pastel floral arrangements by Daisy Lane which really added a touch of elegance. . After the meal, we wandered the grounds for some relaxed, couple shots during golden hour. As a photographer, this is one of my favourite times of the day when the light is just so pretty. This was my first visit to St Audries Park and it didn’t disappoint! This Georgian manor house is located near Taunton and Bristol. If you’re looking for an elegant venue with a sense of history and beautiful surroundings then I think it’s worth a look.
We can’t thank Melanie enough for our wedding photos! We loved Melanie’s natural style of photography and knew that was how we wanted our photos to remember our day. On the day Melanie was amazing, thinking of the little things that we wouldn’t have thought of. We have received our photos back and we couldn’t be happier!
