Here’s another of my picks looking back on 10 years of Devon wedding photography! I can’t believe I’ve been shooting weddings for 10 years and it’s been lovely looking back over all the memories captured. Lauren and Billy were the sweetest couple and Billy was just in awe of his stunning bride all day. I showed him a little sneak peek of the couple shots on the back of my camera and he teared up. The relaxed, natural portraits captured them as a couple perfectly. We were blessed with a sunny day and some lovely spring evening light too. Here’s a little look back at their amazing day…

Pretty Peachy Colour Palette Spring Wedding

Lauren and Billy booked me to photograph their wedding at Deer Park, a country house wedding venue in Honiton. I met Lauren in the morning for some bridal prep photos. The bouquet was a gorgeous mix of peaches and cream and her lace wedding dress was stunning. Her bridesmaids wore blue satin dresses and the bridal party looked gorgeous as they made their way to the outdoor ceremony. Billy couldn’t believe his eyes as his bride walked towards him and was overcome with just how beautiful she looked. It was such a special moment to capture. The sun came out as they said their vows in front of family and friends.

Relaxed Wedding Photography at Deer Park

If you’re looking for an elegant wedding venue in Honiton then this is definitely worth considering! The orangery looked stunning as always. The peachy colour scheme complimented the room perfectly. I loved the acrylic place names with a peach brush stroke and ribbon. Peach roses decorated the cake to match the floral centerpieces. The speeches were hilarious and I loved capturing all the smiles and laughter! After the meal, we headed to the walled garden for Lauren and Billy to have some time to themselves and to capture some relaxed couple shots. The spring blossom and golden hour were a perfect combination for a dreamy, romantic look. I showed them one of the photos on the back of the camera and Billy became emotional again. He felt like the luckiest man in the world and it was an absolute joy to be their to share these moments with them both.
