Flete Estate Devon Wedding ~ Kim & Tom
Welcome to this lovely summer wedding at Flete Estate in the South Hams, Devon. Kim and Tom were married at St Lawrence Church in Bigbury and their marquee reception followed at Pamflete House on The Flete Estate, tucked away on the South West Coast.
I met Kim during the morning to capture her bridal preparations and all the little details. Her wedding gown and flowers were gorgeous! Her young bridesmaid couldn’t stop twirling in her dress as the excitement built.
A short drive away, I met up with the groom at the church as he welcomed their guests. The church was such a pretty setting for their ceremony which was shared with close family and friends.
Beach wedding photography in Devon
Here in Devon, you’re never far from the coast and I’m always delighted when couples opt for some beach wedding photos. I quick stop en-route back to the reception gave Kim and Tom a few moments out to enjoy some quiet time together as Mr & Mrs and, of course, the perfect opportunity to capture some gorgeous, relaxed couple portraits on the beach. Even though Kim battled with the wind, this created some lovely shots all swept up in the veil.
Back at Pamflete House, the marquee was all set up on the front lawn for welcome drinks. After a few quick group photos, Kim and Tom were free to enjoy mingling with their guests. The speeches were hilarious – guests’ reactions captured on camera of course!
In the evening, everyone dance the night away to the band and enjoyed a snack from a pizza van. It really was a perfect summer wedding! I hope you enjoy these highlights from their day…
