Woodbury Park Exeter Wedding ~ Mel & Chris
Mel and Chris chose Woodbury Park near Exeter as their reception venue and it made a stunning backdrop to their wedding day – from the morning’s preparations in the bridal suite to an evening sunset!
The ceremony took place at Temple Methodist Church in Budleigh Salterton. Photographs weren’t allowed during the ceremony but the first kiss and confetti photos provide a record of this part of the day. Then a short walk to the beach for some couple photos made the most of this pretty seaside town.

Back at Woodbury Park guests mingled on the terrace overlooking the golf course giving me the perfect opportunity to capture some candid wedding photos. The speeches were emotional and hilarious and the guests’ faces were a picture – literally. A short stroll around the grounds gave us some perfect, natural couple portraits.
We were blessed with a gorgeous sunset so quickly went outside to grab some impromptu couple shots which rounded off the day perfectly. Here’s a little taster of this lovely couple’s special day…
