Gorwell Farm Weymouth Wedding ~ Naomi & Nick

Naomi and Nick chose to have two photographers as they both wanted photos of the morning’s preparations. Mel spent the morning with the boys as they got ready in one of the cottages at Gorwell Farm whilst Jen photographed the bridal preparations with the girls.

A vintage VW camper van transported them in turn to their ceremony at the Salvation Army in Weymouth, which had close family connections with Naomi and was a favourite place of her grandmother. En route to the reception, we stopped off at Sandsfoot Castle in Weymouth for the group photos and some couple shots.

The reception itself was held in the beautifully decorated barn at Gorwell Farm. Naomi and Nick had spent the previous day transforming it and had a cycling and dance theme for their table names. On arrival at the barn the newlyweds were greeted with a confetti canon – we don’t think we’ve ever seen so much confetti!

Their evening kicked off with a choreographed dance (the bride is a dance teacher after all!) followed by a barn dance. We couldn’t resist staying a while to capture the energy and giggles on the dance floor.
