Toorak Hotel Torquay Wedding ~ Annette & Nathan
Welcome to Annette and Nathan’s summer wedding at The Toorak Hotel in Torquay.
I met Annette to capturethe atmosphere of the morning and all the little details, including the gorgeous flowers from Les Fleurs and Annette’s stunning gown from The Bridal Box. The girls were so relaxed as they chatted, joked and drank bubbly – it was just like they were getting ready for a girls’ night out! Of course they were on hand to help with the fiddly business of doing up necklace clasps too. When the little flower girls arrived it was cuddles all round and they were soon transformed into little princesses for the day. Once the bridal party were ready, they left the bride alone with her mum for some precious mother-daughter time.

I met up with the groom just before the ceremony and captured some shots of him having a drink to calm his nerves and chatting to arriving guests. The ceremony room was packed with friends and family as Annette and Nathan made their vows to each other. Afterwards, guests spilled out into the bar for welcome drinks and there were congratulations all round. The reception room looked stunning and everyone marvelled at the cake from Daisy, Molly and Me. Drinks continued to flow throughout the day as guests enjoyed catching up; after the wedding breakfast cocktails were served on the lawn and everyone relaxed in the late afternoon sunshine whilst children played hide and seek. The gardens at The Toorak were a perfect backdrop for us to capture some dreamy, relaxed couple portraits too.
