Church Wedding in Somerset

This gorgeous spring wedding took place in a lovely old country house wedding venue in Taunton. I met Beth at her mum’s house in the morning to capture a flavour of the bridal preparations. All the girls were sitting around the kitchen table having hair and make-up done whilst sipping bubbly. It was a lovely, relaxed atmosphere.

I made my way over to the church to meet the groom and await his bride’s arrival. After making their vows to each other, the newlyweds were greeted with a shower of confetti. It was a very windy day and Beth’s veil soon took fight and ended up wrapped around one of the guests, much to everyone’s amusement!

We all made our way to Woodlands Castle where guests mingled over welcome drinks before enjoying their meal. We made the most of the golden hour sunshine afterwards to capture some relaxed couple shots in the garden. There was even a swing – how romantic!
