Church Wedding Ceremony Taunton
The day began with bridal preparations at Beth’s mum’s house. It was such a warm, happy atmosphere with all the girls gathered around the kitchen table having their hair and make-up done while sipping bubbly. These relaxed, behind-the-scenes moments are always some of my favourites to photograph. I then made my way over to the St Mary’s Church in North Petherton to meet the groom and await his bride’s arrival. After making their vows to each other, the newlyweds were greeted with a shower of confetti. It was a very windy day and Beth’s veil soon took fight and ended up wrapped around one of the guests, much to everyone’s amusement!
Country House Wedding Reception
We all made our way to a lovely, old country house where guests mingled over welcome drinks before enjoying their meal. The speeches are the perfect opportunity for capturing candid photos of your guests. I love the reactions to the best man jokes or the father of the bride’s sentimental anecdotes. After the meal, we made the most of the golden hour sunshine afterwards to capture some relaxed couple shots in the garden. There was even a swing ~ how romantic!
